This qualification is the industry standard for those who wish to deliver training or carry out assessments within Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector. It is required by trainers and assessors, who are engaged by Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) to develop resources and to train and assess nationally accredited courses and is suitable for those engaged in the delivery of training and assessment of competence in the workplace
This course is delivered over five days, three days one week and two days the following week

Core
- Plan assessment activities and processes
- Assess competence
- Participate in assessment validation
- Plan, organise and deliver group-based learning
- Plan, organise and facilitate learning in the workplace
- Design and develop learning programs
- Use training packages and accredited courses to meet client needs
Elective
- Provide work skill instruction
- Make a presentation
- Develop teams and individuals
Target Audience
All staff who are responsible for the training and assessment in an RTO or in the workplace.
Up-Grade to TAE
Participants holding superseded training qualifications, Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment (BSZ) or the Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAA), who wish to up-grade, should contact the Learning Centre to discuss their application for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
