Professional Development Courses 2011

The ACS Learning Centre recognises the strong link between skilled staff at all levels and quality care. Therefore there is a commitment to providing a wide variety of opportunities for staff to increase their knowledge and skills in operating aged and community care services and providing care to older people. ACS is a Registered Training Organisation and operates within the requirements of the National Training Framework and its own code of practice.

On Site Training

Most ACS courses can be delivered at your facility for your staff. If you would like to obtain a proposal or information, contact the Education Co-ordinator on (02) 8754 0400 or email education@agedservices.asn.au

Regional Members

Every effort is made to provide regional members with access to ACS courses. Regional members who are interested in accessing courses that may not be scheduled, should make a request via their Regional Committee meetings. If there is sufficient support from other members in the region additional courses will be scheduled.

To assist our members with the accumulation of CPD hours for Professional Development, all certificates received through completion of our courses will list the duration hours of the course. Participants will need to keep copies of the certificates as proof of their professional development for registration.

These courses are aimed at people renewing their skills or catching up on the latest information in aged care.
