PURPOSE (Residential & Community)

This course reviews the essential knowledge and skills required for a practical Person Centred approach to caring for clients with dementia. The course also focuses on strategies to train staff and family carers in understanding dementia and its impact and to use this knowledge to contribute to the development and implementation of effective care plans.
