Purpose: general
This one day workshop will provide participants with the skills and knowledge required to establish and develop a professional mentoring relationship with a learner, an apprentice or trainee in the workplace. It includes establishing the need for mentoring, developing a mentoring plan/framework, facilitating and monitoring the mentoring relationship, and evaluating the effectiveness of mentoring.
There are two enrolment options:
- Participants who successfully complete the assessment activities will be issued a Statement of Attainment for the Unit of Competency TAEDEL404A: Mentor in the workplace.
- A Statement of Participation will be issued to all other participants.
