The role of the RN in the contemporary aged care environment needs to be redefined in line with the issues and trends of changing aged care delivery and the inevitable changes that are occurring to staffing models. This workshop encourages RNs to review these issues and trends and explore the need to adopt solutions for the changing environment

  • Scope of practice principles and their application on a day to day basis

  • Leadership, supervision and delegation

  • Comprehensive assessment of the aged care client

Registered nurses to help prepare them to identify the changes that need to be made in their role as a team leader in the contemporary aged care setting.
