Knowing Your Modern Award
In the New Year ACS will be holding a number of short seminars (2-3 hours) aimed at familiarising members with the Modern Awards.
These sessions are a must for all members who have not entered into an Enterprise Agreement by 1 January 2010 when the Modern Awards commence. This includes, with few exceptions, members currently in the State System as the NSW Government has decided that all NSW employers currently covered by the NSW industrial relations system will move into the national scheme from 1 January 2010.
The focus of the sessions will be on the Aged Care Award 2010, the Nurses Award 2010 and the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010.
