In light of the recent industry tragedy we thought it timely to explore issues around fire emergencies from differing
viewpoints – building design, fire & emergency services, risk management and insurance claims experiences. ACS will
bring to you a panel of experts each of whom has hands on real experience in these areas.
Superintendent Christopher Jurgeit from NSW Fire Rescue who will talk from experience around fire safety and what
does and does not work in a case of emergency. He will also address any areas where facilities can improve the
process when responding to emergencies
David Blackett, Director, Blackett Maguire + Goldsmith and will address the following areas:
- Building regulations,
- Upgrade processes,
- Evacuation procedures and
- Annual maintenance
This will be followed by a Zurich Engineer who will share real life experiences in risk and claims management.
